Frames & Lenses

We are confident that our spectacles are competitively priced.

However, if you find an identical complete pair of glasses – frames and lenses – at a lower price from a registered optical practice within 60 days of purchase, we will refund the difference. (Reasonable proof required).

We sell quality frames and lenses that will last for many years and we take the time to make sure your glasses are absolutely right for you, comfortable, and make you look and feel great.

So we don’t compete with the very cheapest range of glasses you can buy on the high street, as we find that most people prefer to spend a little more to get the glasses they really want and need. After you have bought your glasses, we are here for you to make any adjustments or repairs you require.

Frame Pricing

Our frames start from £39 but the average price of our frames is around £130. For handmade and luxury frames, prices start from around £300. Our lightweight lenses have very little visual distortion and absorb at least 93% UV light.

Premium single vision lenses range upwards from £140 while premium varifocal lenses start from £360. However, we can supply basic single vision lenses from £85 and basic varifocal from £170.

We carry a range of spectacles that can be supplied through the NHS vouchers system.

Eye Examinations

If you are an eligible adult, the cost of your test will be covered by the NHS. This includes all adults over the age of 60. For more information go to the NHS website.

All children aged 16 or under are eligible for an annual or 2-yearly sight test which is covered by the NHS. Young adults aged 16-18 who are in full-time education are also eligible to a sight test covered by the NHS.

Private Sight Tests

Private sight tests are £49 for a comprehensive 45 minute test with all our Optometrists.

A contact lens consultation is £49 with an optional annual scheme available which covers all subsequent contact lens appointments for 12 months for £149.

The fee for new contact lens fittings or refits is £159 which covers 6 months care.

Prices for complete frames and lenses range from £59 upwards.

CANCELLATIONS: Please note that cancelled or missed private appointments within 24 hours may be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. We will always endeavour to fill a last minute cancellation from our stand-by list to avoid this, but this is not always possible.

OCT & Optomap

For the most thorough eye examination, an OCT and Optomap scan is £59 for NHS patients.

For private patients the price of a private sight test and both scans is £99.

This includes 2 Optomap images taken in each eye, 3 OCT images taken in each eye, and a consultation with your optometrist who will review the results and explain the findings.

Under 25s Optomap only £15

Henry Beaumont does not supply any products to the national chains of optical retailers. Beautiful exclusive ranges of glasses available at the Richard Tildesley Practice include Bauhaus, Moda, Prestige and Couture.

Cazal

When passion for a product is reflected in the design, there is no-one like Cari Zalloni, whose eyewear designs became a cult in the 80s. He was a visionary who revolutionised eyewear design and created trends that were way ahead of their time, second to none. He crafted an extraordinary style that polarised opinions and has cast a spell over his fans to this day.

CAZAL defined the typical hip-hop look of the 80s like no other brand. Some of the legendary designs from that era are still trendsetting even now. Eyewear lovingly nicknamed “Cazzy” by its fans.

The creative genius of the charismatic designer Cari Zalloni carries on, even after his sudden death in 2012. Inspired by him, his design team will continue to create a collection that sets standards and immortalises his spirit.
